Don't miss out on a performance by the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers at the Creative Exchange Conference 2023 on Wednesday, October 4th!

The Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers are a group of musicians and artisans from the tribal communities of Mashpee on Cape Cod and Aquinnah on Martha's Vineyard. Their performances of eastern social songs and dances have both educated and entertained audiences of all ages in museums, schools, and various multi-cultural events. They dress in their traditional clothing and their songs are accompanied by a water drum and handcrafted rattles. They encourage audience participation and prefer to sing with the people instead of for the people!

You can learn more about the conference at https://artsfoundation.org/.../mass-cultural-councils.../.
And you can register at https://bit.ly/2023CXConference.

WANTED: Facilitator for a team discussion focused on the role of race equity work in our company, and the ways that white supremacy culture and related oppressive cultural norms are interacting with our team functioning as well as our consulting work. We are a small (9) organizational change and development consulting firm, and this conversation is part of our own strategic planning process for 2022. As we've taken on more work in helping clients to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as do equity auditing on their own practices, we have surfaced interesting and important questions about our own work, team, and company. We'd like a facilitator to help us design and engage in a half day discussion around our shared values and commitments in this area, and to plan for a future in which we are actively and intentionally tackling these challenges in our team and in our work together. We'll be meeting in-person (and want a facilitator in person). We're all fully vaccinated and will be taking rapid tests three days prior to the retreat and the morning of it, and will be asking the same of our facilitator. We would like someone to support this discussion on either Dec. 6 or 7 for a half day at our office in Dorchester, MA. If interested and available, please send a letter explaining your approach, your qualifications, and your fees
