So sad for my people that this will greatly effect… as a death midwife, a home funeral educator, and a green burial advocate the electronic death registry any more traction makes it harder for people to act as their own funeral Director….. the death of a loved one is hard enough without the state, making it harder for us to care for our own……

Saving paper is good BUT, this moves towards limiting who can file legal paperwork… in some states you already are forced to hire a funeral Director…..

There is a p***s festival somewhere too…. :)

A grandma wished for a very, um, unusual headstone! Specifically, she wished for a giant er****on on top of her grave – and she got it, damn it!

99-year-old Catarina Orduña Pérez’s, better known to her community as Doña Cata, last wish was for a huge monument of a p***s to sit on top of her tomb. The completed statue, resembling a “five-and-a-half foot tall p***s and balls weighing nearly 600 pounds,” was placed on top of her grave.

As her grandson explains “She was always very avant-garde, very forward thinking about things. She always said, in the Mexican sense, that we were vergas.”

Initially, the artist and creator of the monument assumed this request was a joke. But after speaking with the adamant family, a team of 12 set out to honor her wish! And that they did 🤣🍆🖤
