While I’ve supported clients through major milestones like launches, retreats, maternity leave, and significant income growth, I believe my greatest impact is in helping them manage their time, investment, effort, and stress.

After being away from social media for way too long, I am so excited to share with you that I’ve been focusing on some really exciting things professionally!

✨ I wrapped up a six-month certification as a Certified Director of Operations (DOO) over the summer, and have officially launched the DOO packages in my business! I have learned so much over the past 5+ years in business about everything I love doing, the type of clients I love working with, the type of service provider I want to be, and the roles I have grown out of and ready to step into more.

Feeling confident and proud of this new chapter and looking forward to serving my clients on an even deeper, more strategic level.

One thing that's been a game changer in my business is simplifying. I used to buy ALL the programs & thought I needed all the things to run my business. It left me running around in circles, wasting money & having too much clutter on my desktop & iPhone 🙅‍♀️

Now, I'm constantly reevaluating my workflows & expenses to make sure I'm keeping it simple & only using what I need to run my business & manage client accounts.

If you like to keep your expenses low & believe simple is better like I do then keep reading for 2 must have tools for your service-based business 👇

▪️ Customer Relationship Management (CRM). I use Dubsado to run my business & it allows me to provide a seamless client experience from start to finish.

From creating & sending questionnaires, proposals, invoices, & contracts with just one click to setting up recurring payments, canned emails, workflows, & booking appointments without lifting a finger, having a CRM in place has helped automate my business & saves me so much time 🎉

▪️ Project Management tool. I use Clickup for my business & it has pretty much replaced everything. I work from Clickup all day & it is the one tab that is open from the time I turn my computer on until the time I'm done working.

In Clickup, I have folders for each part of my business & use it to organize client projects, my workflows & templates, manage my tasks, to-do lists, recurring tasks, & manage the larger projects I'm working on. Everything is organized & I always know what needs to be done & by when.

One of the parts that I am obsessed with is the Docs section. I love simplifying so instead of having documents in Google Drive & Dropbox & all the places almost all of my documents live right here. No more running around all over the place trying to find things 🥳

Raise your hand if you're guilty of selling more than you're storytelling 🤦‍♀️⠀ ⠀

We’re consuming SO much info every day as it is, the last thing we want is to be sold to. If you're trying to grow your business on social media but all you’re doing is selling, it’s going to be hard!

🤔 So what can you do instead?
⠀ ⠀
👉 Of course you want to share your product/service but you need to be sharing other things too. Your story (you know, that thing that makes you unique 😉) share it! When you share parts of your story it will draw your ideal audience in & will make you relatable.

👉 Think about why people buy. To get closer to pleasure or further from pain right? So think about what your product/service solves. People don’t usually buy because of a FEATURE of a product, but they do buy based off of EMOTIONS!

So let’s start connecting emotionally with our ideal clients & start sharing more of our story. You in?! 👊

Are you getting good engagement on social?! 🙈

A common frustration I hear from local & small businesses is that they don't know where to find people to connect with & they feel like no one is engaging with them.

One thing most people don't realize is that it takes time. Social media is a long game (but SO incredibly worth it for your business!) If your audience isn't used to you asking for engagement, you may have to "train" them to start giving it!

Here's 3 ideas you can start with that will help boost your engagement! 🚀

▪️ If you're using Instagram make sure you have a hashtag strategy in place. Engage & follow accounts that look like your dream client & who you'd want to connect with.

▪️ When creating posts think about who it's reaching & what the purpose of the caption is. How can you serve those in your community? How can you provide value?

▪️ Give more than you receive. You can't expect people to reach out to you if you aren't doing the same. Like Tyler McCall said, "View each comment & every DM as an opportunity to meet someone, show up for them intentionally, & find a way to serve them well." 💥
