Back home in Las Vegas and very hard at work!

We’re excited to be heading back on the road again at the end of the month for an on-site consultation with one of our newest rescue partners in Texas!

One of our favorite parts of what we do is traveling across the country to meet the incredible organizations we serve - and getting to bring our dogs! There is nothing quite like spending time with the people behind the mission, learning their challenges firsthand, and helping build the strategies, systems, and digital infrastructure that will support their lifesaving work for years to come.

We may not be home for long, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s to helping more shelters and rescues save more lives. 🐾

We met Sharky at —and he hasn’t left our minds since.

Sharky was born with just three legs.

And yet, there is nothing limited about him.

He runs.
He plays.
He loves fully.

He moves through life the same way every dog does—without hesitation.

The only thing that ever holds dogs like Sharky back
is how often they’re overlooked.

Not because they can’t live full lives.
But because they don’t fit someone’s idea of “perfect.”

While people continue to search breeders for a certain look, dogs like Sharky are passed by for something they were born with—something that doesn’t slow them down, doesn’t define them, and doesn’t take away from everything they are.

And that’s exactly why partners like Cody’s Friends Rescue matter.

They step in for the ones who might be dismissed.
They see the dogs others don’t stop for.
They give them the chance they deserve.

Because disabilities don’t limit these dogs.

They adapt.
They thrive.
They live fully.

They’re just waiting for someone to see them the same way.

On the way through Fort Worth heading to Texas Unites, we saw a small dog trying to cross a busy road—alone, terrified, and completely vulnerable. We turned around immediately.

He wandered into a parking lot, clearly lost. The moment I got down on my knees, he came right up to me. No hesitation. Just relief to be loved. Within seconds, I was holding him in my arms.

That moment stays with you. Because for every dog like him that’s found, there are thousands that aren’t.

We got him scanned—no microchip. No collar. Not neutered. No clear story.

Thankfully, he’s safe now and immediately taken in to a rescue partner.

That’s why I built Animal Resources & Consulting.

Not just to help rescues exist—but to help them operate stronger, raise more, reach further, and ultimately save more lives. Rescue isn’t just about showing up in the moment. It’s about building the infrastructure that prevents the moment from happening in the first place.

Every website we build, every fundraising campaign we run, every system we implement—it all leads back to this:

Fewer dogs on the street.
More dogs in loving forever homes.
More organizations equipped to actually sustain their impact.

That little dog is safe today thanks to fosters and rescues who step up!

But the mission is making sure fewer dogs ever end up there again.

When rescues have powerful stories to tell, the community shows up.

Animal Resources & Consulting recently partnered with Pets & People Humane Society in Oklahoma to share the story of a dog in need of ACL surgery. With compelling storytelling and strong photos, the campaign connected with supporters and brought in the funds needed for lifesaving care.

In fact, WE EXCEEDED the goal in less than 4 hours!

This is the power of telling rescue stories the right way—turning compassion into action and donations that change lives. 🐾

We’re proud to share that Animal Resources & Consulting Director, Elle McCall, has been selected as a workshop speaker for the Texas Unites for Animals in April 2026.

Elle’s session, Story-Driven Fundraising: How to Turn Shelter Stories Into North Texas Giving Day Success, was selected from more than 150 submissions. We’re honored to have the opportunity to contribute to a conference that brings together so many dedicated leaders in animal welfare in Texas.

Through ARC, Elle has partnered with shelters and rescues to help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year during North Texas Giving Day, using strategic, ethical storytelling that centers the animals, respects donors, and delivers real, measurable fundraising results.

We not only met our goal, we EXCEEDED it! Amazing news for Echo at Hands 'N Paws, one of our incredible partners in Washington state. Within one week we raised over $2,000 for this sweet girl to receive her amputation surgery! 🐾
