So, it's easy to get caught up in the hype of social media. The hype gives you the satisfaction of knowing that a lot of people can see your content.

Sure, analytics are essential because they bring more leads. But at the end of the day, insights are just that. Numbers.

But you should ask yourself, "Do I like the content on my platforms?"

"Is this what I want to share with everyone?"

If your answer is 'Yes,' you're doing a good job!

If not, you should think about the reason why you started this. Remember what your purpose and goals are. Try to find yourself again.

Never lose yourself in the process.

The truth is that no one will care what you have to say to them until you show them that you care about THEIR world.

That’s the reality of it. Everything in the world is about the exchange. Stop trying to PITCH and SELL and get your NAME or BRAND out there.

SLOW DOWN, STOP, and LISTEN.

Once you’ve actually LISTENED you’ll FEEL the connection take place and so will they.

When you’re SELLING and PITCHING ultimately what you’re looking for is CONNECTION.

So ask yourself, “In this scenario do I need to SHUT UP and LISTEN in order to connect with this individual, or do I need to TALK and SHARE?” Whatever creates the most connection on your end.

The more connection you’re creating the higher the probability of the sale.
