Halloween is almost here, and dry ice is ready to bring the spooky vibes!

From fog-filled cauldrons and pumpkin displays to creating a little extra atmosphere in your graveyard scene, dry ice can add some Halloween magic.

It was a great weekend to get together with our customers!

Each year, we look forward to getting together with our customers at the Air Force–Navy football game. We enjoyed some good food, great conversations, and the chance to spend time together outside of the day-to-day.

We’re grateful for the relationships we’ve built over the years and always enjoy opportunities like this to connect and catch up.

Which welding wire is right for your fab shop?

Please join us in welcoming our (not-so-new) Denver Store Manager, Crystal Hovland!

If Crystal looks familiar, there’s a good reason—she’s been part of the General Air family for 9 years!

Over the years, Crystal has become a familiar face at our Denver store, building strong relationships throughout the metro area through her commitment to service, responsiveness, and industry knowledge. She’s consistently shown a strong work ethic and a willingness to step up wherever she’s needed.

Before joining General Air, Crystal was a lead fabricator and supervisor for several years, bringing her leadership and customer service to the table.

But Crystal isn’t stepping into this role alone. For the next couple weeks, you’ll find her working alongside our longtime Denver Store Manager, Jeff Call, as he prepares for retirement after an incredible 34+ years with General Air.

So, if you’re stopping by the Denver store, be sure to say hello to Crystal—and give Jeff a well-deserved farewell!

We’re going to miss having Jeff behind the counter, but we’re excited for this next chapter and couldn’t think of a better person to help lead the Denver team forward.

Sometimes a pancake breakfast is about a lot more than pancakes.

Our drivers have faced their share of challenges over the past couple of months, and through it all, they’ve continued to work hard, put in the extra effort, and make sure our customers are taken care of.

We know a pancake breakfast doesn’t make all those long days disappear—but it’s one small way we could say thank you.

Our officers cooked breakfast for our drivers as a way to show our appreciation for everything they’ve been doing, from delivering gas and products to handling installations. Our drivers spend a lot of time on the road, putting in the miles and doing the work that keeps General Air moving.

Thank you to all of our drivers. We appreciate you, we’re proud of you, and we’re grateful for everything you do.

Did you know TIG welding dates all the way back to 1941?

It was developed during World War II when aircraft manufacturers needed a better way to weld materials like aluminum and magnesium—metals that were difficult to weld with the methods available at the time.

Today, TIG (GTAW) is known for producing clean, precise, and great-looking welds—including that famous “stacked dimes” look.

It’s a go-to process for everything from aircraft and piping to motorcycle parts, sculptures, and thin metals.
