Come for Club Night. Stay for the “wait, I need to take notes” sessions.

Homebrew Con 2026 is bringing two days of homebrew knowledge to Asheville, with multiple sessions for every brewer out there: the newbies, the tinkerers, the competitors… the list goes on.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on tap:

🍎 "Cidermaking 101: Core Concepts" with Brighid O’Keane

And that’s just some of the sessions. Your registration also gets you access to homebrewing workshops, Homebrew Expo, the legendary Club Night, National Homebrew Competition Awards Ceremony, and plenty of time to meet the people shaping the hobby.

It is with heavy hearts that we invite the homebrewing community to join us in raising a glass in memory of Bob Kauffman.

Bob passed away on April 28 at the age of 71. He was a longtime homebrewer, AHA leader, mentor, club builder, beer judge, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and impact will be felt for years to come across our community.

Our thoughts are with Bob’s family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
Please join us in honoring Bob’s life and legacy.

Want to see what some of the best homebrewers in the world are bringing to the table?

When you sign up to attend HBC, you get a front-row seat to one of the biggest “dang, homebrewers are talented” moments of the year: the National Homebrew Competition Awards Ceremony on June 20 in Asheville, NC.

Come cheer on some of the best beer, mead, and cider makers in the world, soak up inspiration from the best of the best, and leave with that dangerous little thought every homebrewer knows well: “Yep, I’m brewing this weekend.”

Because the goodness keeps going after Homebrew Con, AHA members get access to National Homebrew Competition medal-winning recipes in Zymurgy magazine and on HomebrewersAssociation.org shortly after the conference. Fresh, award-winning recipes—right at your fingertips.

Final Round judging happens June 17-18, but June 20 is when the room gets loud, the medals come out, and the homebrew community shows up.

Register and join us! Get your tickets at https://buff.ly/C1d5g75

The awards ceremony will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.

Now this… this is what the American Homebrewers Association's Big Brew Day, brought to you by Grainfather, is all about!

Thank you to everyone who gathered, brewed, shared photos, and brought the heart to Big Brew Day 2026.

And because these recipes deserve one more lap around the brewhouse:

Monk’s Ration Trappist-Style Single brought crisp, golden Belgian-style character
George and Aaron’s Pre-Prohibition Porter delivered roast, rye, and historic flavor
Dark Cellar Imperial Stout came in big, dark, and gloriously bold

(By the way, the brewing doesn’t stop just because it’s not a holiday. You can still tackle all three recipes at https://buff.ly/x5QN2VA !)

Until next time, keep brewing and keep sharing. We love seeing it.

When we say you don’t want to miss this, we mean: You REALLY don’t want to miss this.

If you ask any homebrewer (like AHA Board member Shawna Cormier here!) their favorite part of Homebrew Con, there’s a very good chance they’re gonna say Club Night.

It’s not just a group of people standing around chatting, it’s a full-on homebrew spectacle:

🍻 Homebrew clubs from all around the country
🎭 Costumes, themes, and booths that go HARD (some have to be seen to be believed)
🔥 Beers, meads, and ciders you will NEVER find anywhere else

This is where your club shows off its creativity, passion, and yes—beer. If you made something bold, or weird, or brilliant, this is the time to bring it out.

Big cheers to the American Homebrewers Association 2026 National Homebrew Competition First Round winners!

Your beer, mead, and cider rose to the top, and now those shiny new medals are looking awfully ready for their close-up.

We can’t wait to see the results from Final Round Judging in Asheville, June 17–18. Until then, good luck, and enjoy this very well-earned moment.
