One of the biggest hiring mistakes companies make happens before the interview even starts.

Most managers begin hiring without clearly defining what success in the role actually looks like.

Before posting a job, try this simple exercise:

Complete this sentence:
“In this role, this person must consistently be able to…”

Then list 3 non negotiables.

This helps teams:
✔ Build better interview questions
✔ Hire more fairly and consistently
✔ Reduce hiring based on personality alone
✔ Create stronger onboarding expectations

So here is the question: Are you hiring for immediate relief, or long-term fit?
