We have been working on quite a few 3D coordination projects for this year. Often one of the starting points we receive is an drawing. Slight digression - It still surprises me in the year 2022, how many people are still in ! As we were looking at our work load, we thought it would definitely take way too long to brute force model all the for these projects, so we added a new feature to which includes an -> workflow. The process is to map the DWG to a Revit system type and bake the elements in . The outcome is below. Still a lot of work to do including connections, sloped pipe, etc. I just wanted to share that EvolveLAB is actively using on our own projects. What do you think?

“We didn’t go to design school to figure out how to put the view title in the correct spot" - Ames Hardt, Design Application Specialist at EvolveLAB

😭Problem: 🅡🅔🅥🅘🅣 doesn't allow you to move views and view titles to a consistent location via 'snapping'. You have to use the "nudge" tool for every single view title!

😄Wouldn't it be sweet if you could move all your views AND their respective view titles to the same location with a 🅡🅔🅥🅘🅣 Add-In? Well, we did! Check out this blog post our very own Daniel Kaye authored that talks about the Revit Add-in we built for LS3P's Strategic BIM Manager, Ruth Parr
