The Bourbon Fire Protection District would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Gary Sinise Foundation for its continued dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to supporting our first responders, veterans, and their families.

The Foundation reached out to our district to express its appreciation for Jaydens and to extend its heartfelt condolences to the Nelson family following the tragic loss of Jayden.

Acts of kindness and compassion like this remind us how much it means to stand together as a community, especially during times of loss. We are truly grateful for the Foundation’s thoughtfulness and for the support it provides to those who serve and sacrifice for others.

From all of us at the Bourbon Fire Protection District, thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your continued support of our first responders, veterans, and the families who stand behind them. ❤️‍🔥

Public Information – West Side of Bourbon

The Bourbon Fire Protection District is providing this information to our citizens within the City of Bourbon.

For purposes of this notice, the west side of Bourbon includes residences, businesses, schools, and other properties located west of the Town & Country Supermarket area.

We are taking this situation seriously and are exercising an abundance of caution to ensure adequate water supply and firefighting resources are available should an emergency occur in this area.

As an additional precaution, two additional tanker trucks from our mutual-aid partners will be automatically requested for any structure fire occurring in this area.

Our goal is to ensure that our firefighters have the resources necessary to respond effectively and protect the lives and property of our citizens.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support of the Bourbon Fire Protection District
