The leaf has finally landed. 🍃

Two and a half years ago, during my separation, I told my therapist I felt like a leaf dropped from a tall tree - wafting down but not yet touching ground.

Last week someone asked “How are you?” and I realized... I’m not holding my breath anymore.

For so long I was doing all the things - running my business, managing life - but living with too many tabs open in my mind. Sleeping with clenched fists. Present but not fully present.

Until you wake up one day and realize: You have more joy. You’re sleeping through the night. Your boundaries actually hold. You’ve landed.

This is what healing looks like - not a straight line, but a gentle descent until you find solid ground again.

For anyone still wafting: You will land. Trust the process. 💛

✨ TWO YEARS OF CARSON! ✨

They say time flies when you’re having fun, and these two years with this handsome rescue have certainly proven that true! 🐾

What started as a trip to the shelter for an “older, calmer dog” turned into bringing home this 5-month-old energetic pup who’s changed everything for the better. As one neighbor put it: “You rescued each other.”

Carson’s daily walks have:
- Created a consistent exercise routine
- Introduced me to amazing neighbors-turned-friends
- Provided daily doses of joy during challenging times
- Reminded me that sometimes the best things in life are unplanned

Here’s to many more years of unconditional love, neighborhood adventures, and the joy of coming home to someone who’s ALWAYS excited to see me! 💕
