We stumble into sin, but God's power can release us from its grip when we surrender and ask for guidance. Lord, I confess the times that I have ignored Your word, turned my back on Your truth, and welcomed sin with open arms. I do not wish to be ruled by my sins, my weaknesses, and my selfish ambitions. Please take Your place on the throne of my heart, so that Your love and holiness may rule in my thoughts, and that I may be made blameless in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
