Our team recently completed this 4,500 SF house slab, but the work started long before the concrete trucks arrived. Yesterday our team completed a 100-yard concrete pour at Meacham Airport for a new drive lane and parking area.

This project was completed entirely in-house, including:

* Demolition
* Excavation
* Subgrade preparation
* Installation and compaction of 8 inches of flex base (passed density testing)
* Layout and grade control
* Redesign of the finished grades when the original plan set wouldn’t drain correctly
* Formwork
* Rebar installation
* Concrete placement with a pump truck
* Finishing

From dirt work to the finished concrete, our crew handled every phase of the project. Taking ownership of the entire process allows us to maintain quality, solve problems in the field, and deliver a finished product we’re proud to stand behind.

Another strong week in the books for the SRS team.

Our concrete crew took advantage of a good weather window on Tuesday, successfully pouring 670 LF of 5-foot sidewalk and 300 LF of mow strip.

Meanwhile, the dirt crew has been pushing full steam ahead—they wrapped up the haul-off of 6,500 yards of export and transitioned into moisture conditioning. They’re tackling multiple sections with depths ranging from 4 to 9 feet.

We’re grateful for the progress this week and looking forward to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ this Easter weekend. Thankful for the dedicated crews, valued clients, and the work we’ve been blessed with.
