Thank you to for your investment that enabled the launch of the Prince George’s County small business support program. We had a lovely time yesterday announcing this new grant program at a PNC branch in College Park and connecting with a packed room of the county’s business leaders, elected officials, friends, and partners - including David Iannucci, president and CEO of the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation and Prince Geroge’s County Chamber of Commerce president, Alexander Austin.

This new program will provide grants and technical assistance to small businesses operating along the Blue and Purple Line corridors providing greater opportunities to harness the economic benefits of development in the area. Designed in conjunction with several leading business groups in the county, including LISC, Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce, Purple Line Coalition, Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, FSC First and Bowie BIC, it will support the growth and sustainability of small businesses as key employers and economic drivers in the county.

The application opens on Monday and will be available via The Community Foundation’s website at https://www.thecommunityfoundation.org/for-nonprofits.
