What do people really know about microplastics? 🤔

While walking the streets of Paris, our CEO Jonathan Jakubowski asked passersby what they knew about microplastics.

Then, we showed them something different: SmartSolve’s water-soluble material in action. 💙

Seeing their reactions, questions, and excitement reminded us why conversations like these matter.

Awareness is the first step but innovation gives us the opportunity to rethink the materials we use every day and explore alternatives designed to leave less behind.

During our time in Paris, President & CEO Jakubowski joined U.S. Steve Daines and fellow leaders for a roundtable discussion focused on sustainability, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and the future of the packaging industry. Daines currently serves Montana in the U.S. Senate.

The conversation explored how innovation and new technologies are reshaping the way we think about materials—and the growing role that biodegradable and next-generation packaging solutions can play as the industry continues to evolve.
