Having a good team is essential to a positive experience. Everyone on your team should be understanding, compassionate, and willing to get their hands dirty and help where needed.

Challenges should be discussed well before an issue arises but there comes a time when all the discussion in the world doesn't improve in the workplace. While I am a proponent of finding solutions and getting to the root of the problem - I want to play devil's advocate here and address situations where keeping an employee on may not be in the best interest of the organization.
