A long time ago, I went to Florida on a whim with the Southerland family. You can probably see why I kept asking to drive the car! Brittany Reiner was pinching my nose here and I think was spitting in my hair in the back. Blake though smiling in the blue shirt, but that wasn't the first four hours from Cincy to Chattanooga. Ali with the yellow on, I think was probably okay and then CC on the left, looks harmless and innocent, but I'm sure she joined in on the fun in the back two seats of the suburban! I finally realized that Billy and Suzanne weren't going to give up the steering wheel and so I had to make time pass and came up with the game, "Would you rather." Btw....nah...I"m not going to say it about who came up with that name first!!!! ha ha. Okay, so my very first would you rather was this: "Would you rather be in an open field with a Grizzly Bear or the ocean surrounded by sharks?" Thought that was a good one! We ended up making up scenarios the whole trip there and still make up scenarios to this day!
Now that takes me to my next point! I'm thankful that my father, Bill Rogers, who was a man who didn't speak much, but his actions followed his beliefs AND if he did say something, he'd follow through. He wasn't perfect but he did his best. I also created a community of individuals who have traits that he had and can ONLY be a part of this community through endorsements from people who not only have a good relationship with those people, but also can share the intimate details as to who they were on the inside, similar to my Dads. I think it's the stuff you can't see on the inside (foundational things) that is more important than the tip of the iceberg (I share a story on Bills Corner77 about this below).
I'm excited to let others know about some of the firsts in this community of like minded men and women and want others to come and visit, learn about them and if there's a fit to work with any of them, well you can find their contact on their profile.
