I have been training and showing for 20 years. My background includes English (Saddleseat), Hunter and Western Pleasure, Working Reined horse and halter. I have experience with many different breeds including Arabians and half Arabians, Quarter Horses, Saddlebreds, Thoroughbreds, and many gaited breeds. My techniques are clasical and competitive and influenced by classical dressage, centered ridin
g and west coast Californios Vaquero. I train with empathy and keep a balance between letting the horse set the pace of learning while keeping them challenged for posative progress. The facility I currently work out of is quite modes but neat and tidy. I have a nice 12 stall stable and each stall is 12x12, solid red oak, with two welding steel doors for safety, ventilation and light. I have a 75x175 ft outdoor arena and a 45x7 ft wood round corral for starting colts. There is 1 all weather turn out and one large grass trun out at this time but I will be expanding to include another 2 turn out areas this fall and next spring. I take on only a few client horses at a time and handle all management of the horses.
