SWAT Pest Control

Out of the office — October 19th–26th

I’m heading down to Texas for PestWorld for a week of learning, networking, and checking out what’s new in the pest control industry.

I’m looking forward to bringing some new ideas, equipment, and techniques back to SWAT and continuing to improve what we offer here in Nebraska.

I’ll still be checking messages while I’m gone, but response times may be a little slower than normal.

If you need something taken care of before I leave, now’s the time to get on the schedule.

Back at it October 27th. 🕷️🎃

If what you thought was a Halloween decoration starts moving and flying around, give us a call!

BAT SEASON IS HERE!

From the first week of August through the first couple weeks of September, many bats are looking for places to roost as they prepare for fall and winter. This means you may be more likely to find a bat in or around your home during this time!

A few important things to remember: Bat bites can be very small and may not be visible. If you are bitten, scratched, or have direct contact with a bat, wash the area immediately with soap and water and seek medical advice.

If you wake up with a bat in your bedroom, or a young child or someone unable to reliably report contact was in the room with a bat, contact the health department for guidance.

Helpful Contacts:

- West Central District Health Department: (308) 696-1201
- Nebraska DHHS Rabies Program: (402) 471-2937
- Nebraska Game & Parks Commission, Southwest District: (308) 535-8025

Bat/Wildlife Removal Contacts:
- SWAT Pest Control LLC: (720) 765-6565
- Barnhill Wildlife Management, LLC: (402) 469-5556

When calling a wildlife removal service, ask about humane bat removal and exclusion services.

One more box checked.

I passed my termite exam!

When I started SWAT, I wanted to be able to do more than just spray bugs. I’ve spent a lot of time since then getting licensed, learning, buying equipment, and figuring out how to do things the right way.

Here’s where we’re at now:

00 — Commercial/Noncommercial
04 — Ornamental & Turf
08 — Structural & Health-Related
08W — Wood Destroying Organisms
09 — Public Health
14 — Wildlife Damage Control

So we’ve got a pretty strong list of things we can help with now.

Birds, bats, moles, raccoons, bed bugs, roaches, mosquitoes, ticks, spiders, ants, fleas, flies, earwigs, and a whole lot more.

And as of this week, termites are officially on that list!

We’re always learning and trying to get better at what we do. There’s always something new to learn in this industry, and I’m not interested in staying where I’m at.

Really proud of how far this little company has come.

Thanks to everyone who’s trusted me with their home or business and helped me get here. It means more than you probably realize.

Now let’s go kill some termites!

Nebraska summers are too short to spend them hiding from mosquitoes.

If you've found yourself cutting evenings short, avoiding the patio, or watching the kids get eaten alive in the backyard, you're definitely not the only one.

I've been hearing it a lot lately.

Out of curiosity, what's the worst spot on your property?

The patio?
The deck?
Around the trees?
By the garden?

Drop it below or send me a message. I'm always interested to see where they're causing the most problems this year.

(No bumblebees were harmed during the making of this video)

Big update—

Yesterday was my last day at my job. Starting Monday, I’m full time with SWAT Pest Control.

That's pretty surreal.

This all started as side work after hours, now it’s turned into an office in North Platte and enough steady work that I can finally go all in.

I’m beyond grateful for everyone who’s helped get me get to this point—every referral, every share, every job. It’s all mattered.

To celebrate, and now that mosquito season is here, I’m opening up 15 spots at 50% off the first YardGuard mosquito & tick treatment!

If you want your yard to actually be enjoyable this summer—no swatting, no bites, no rushing inside—reach out.

Message me here or call/text 720-765-6565 and I’ll get you on the schedule!
