💛 Meet Trevor, our Compliance Coordinator!

Trevor joined the Golden Heart team a few months ago, bringing five years of experience to his role. He has quickly become an important part of our day-to-day operations.

Trevor works closely with EVV compliance and app navigation, and helps our team wherever needed. He also assists with phone calls and emails and is always willing to jump in and lend a hand.

Outside of work, Trevor enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, and golfing.

We’re happy to have Trevor as part of the Golden Heart team! 💛

As we head into fall, we're excited to introduce something special... 💛

The Golden Heart Caregiver of the Year Award!

Our caregivers make a difference every single day, and now it's your opportunity to recognize someone who has gone above and beyond. We invite our clients, families, fellow caregivers, office staff, and community members to nominate a Golden Heart caregiver who has made a positive impact through their compassion, dedication, and exceptional care.

*Nominations are open now through August 31, 2026.*

How it works:

-* You may nominate more than one Golden Heart caregiver.

-* All nominations will remain confidential, and you may choose to remain anonymous.

-* Entries are only valid when submitted through the official nomination form. If you'd prefer to fill one out in the office, you may do that. Comments, messages, and verbal nominations will not be accepted.

-* Every nomination will be carefully reviewed by Golden Heart's leadership team. The recipient will be selected based on the impact they have made, the quality of care they provide, and the stories and examples shared in each nomination, not simply the number of nominations received.

The Golden Heart Caregiver of the Year will be selected on September 4, 2026, and recognized for their outstanding compassion, dedication, and commitment to providing exceptional care.

Today has been an adventure here at the Golden Heart office. 😅

Between the Microsoft outage, a BitLocker recovery screen, troubleshooting, a trip to Geek Squad, and an emotional support Taco Bell run… today definitely kept us on our toes.

Four hours and 17 minutes later, Missy’s computer is finally back up and running!

Some days we’re helping clients and supporting caregivers… and other days we’re the IT department, just trying to keep the office moving.

It’s all part of the job, I guess. 😂 Today was a good reminder that a little persistence (and maybe some Taco Bell) can go a long way.

The computer fought hard… but we won. 💛👏
