We’re kicking off October with a little Halloween fun!
Golden Heart is hosting a Halloween Coloring Contest, and this one is for EVERYONE! Kids, adults, clients, staff, families, friends... if you want to color, we want to see it!
And yes, there WILL be a prize for our winner, but we’re keeping that part a surprise. 👀
Here's how to enter:
Print the coloring page attached to this post or stop by the Golden Heart office to pick up a copy.
Color it, decorate it, and make it your own! Crayons, markers, colored pencils, glitter, whatever you want. Get creative!
Send us a clear photo of your finished coloring page through Facebook Messenger or drop it off at the Golden Heart office.
Entries must be submitted by October 19th!
Once submissions close, we’ll post all of the finished coloring pages to our page for community voting and elimination rounds!
Each reaction on the ORIGINAL Golden Heart entry will count as one vote. Reactions on shared posts will not be counted.
Throughout the week, entries with the most votes will advance through our elimination rounds until we narrow it down to our finalists and ultimately ONE winner!
Voting & Elimination Rounds: October 20th–26th
Winner announced: October 27th
There is NO AGE LIMIT, and you definitely don’t have to be an artist. We just want to have some Halloween fun and see what our Golden Heart community comes up with!

Jill is our Registered Nurse and Supervisory Professional, and in just one year, she has become such a valued part of Golden Heart. She brings so much knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her role, and we are incredibly thankful for everything she does for our clients, caregivers, and team.
We are so glad to have Jill on our team and appreciate the care, support, and experience she brings to Golden Heart. We’re lucky to have her and look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with her!

Celebrating 3 Years of Megan #2! 💚💛
This September, Megan Geib, also known around the office as Megan #2 😉, celebrates 3 years with Golden Heart!
Megan has become such an essential part of our office team. As our Intake Specialist and Supervisory Professional, she helps welcome new clients to Golden Heart, supports our staff, keeps things moving behind the scenes, and somehow manages to keep up with all the little things that come through our front office every day.
She is also the beautiful, smiling face that greets you when you walk through our doors, and we couldn't ask for a better person to be one of the first faces people see at Golden Heart. 💛
Over the past three years, Megan has grown tremendously in her roles, taken on more responsibility, and become someone we know we can count on.
Megan #2, thank you for everything you bring to our office, our clients, our staff, and Golden Heart as a whole.

Celebrating 11 Years of Julie! 💛
On September 22nd, Julie Vroman celebrated 11 years with Golden Heart!
If you know Julie, you know she is someone you can depend on. She is incredibly smart, reliable, dedicated, and has been such a steady part of Golden Heart for the past 11 years.
As our Payroll Specialist, Julie has spent countless hours making sure things are done correctly, answering questions, solving problems, and keeping one of the most important pieces of our office running smoothly.
This year is a little different as Julie has started easing into partial retirement, something she has more than earned! Thankfully, we still get to keep her around. 💚
Julie, thank you for 11 years of showing up, sharing your knowledge, and being such a dependable part of this team. Golden Heart has been lucky to have you for all these years.

11 YEARS! 💛
September 2nd marked 11 years of Megan Gage, also known around here as Megan #1 😉, being part of the Golden Heart team!
Over the last 11 years, Megan has worn a lot of hats and has been part of so many seasons of growth and change at Golden Heart. Today, she serves as our Office Manager and Designated Biller, helping keep things running behind the scenes and making sure the details get taken care of.
Eleven years is a pretty incredible milestone. We are so grateful for the dedication, hard work, knowledge, laughs, and heart Megan has brought to Golden Heart over the years.

There’s something special about the bond between a parent and daughter, and in home care, we’re lucky enough to see that love in so many different ways.

We see daughters advocating for their parents. Daughters stepping into caregiving roles. Parents caring for their daughters. Families simply showing up for one another, day after day.

Whether she’s little and still finding her way, grown with a family of her own, or somewhere in between, a daughter will always hold a special place in her family’s heart.

Okay this is pretty cool to finally see. 🥹💛

Our Best of the Best magazine feature is officially ready for print!

This year, Golden Heart was voted 2nd Place for Best Elderly Care Services and 2nd Place for Best Large Company to Work For in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

And somehow, this will officially be our fifth magazine feature. 🥹 It’s pretty surreal to look back at each one and see a different piece of Golden Heart’s story represented along the way.

We put a lot of heart into what we do, but Golden Heart truly wouldn’t be what it is without the people behind it. Our caregivers, office staff, clients, families, case managers, community partners, and all of you who continue to support us.

Seeing our team, our name, and everything we’ve worked so hard to build represented in this magazine is a pretty special feeling.

The Best of the Best Winners Magazine comes out in October, and we can’t wait to get our hands on a copy. 💛
