Backbone Solar stands as a milestone project for Vanguard Energy Partners and Maryland's renewable energy industry as the largest utility-scale solar project in the state.

This project features 160 MWac of total installed capacity, enough to power 30,000 Maryland homes, while also providing opportunity for the local community, creating over 200 jobs over the course of construction.

While not without it's challenges, this has been one of the most informative and rewarding projects we have had the opportunity to construct, and we are incredibly proud and thankful to everyone in the field for their commitment to the build!
