Customer had a steep driveway washing out really bad, driveway was the lowest point on this hillside and made for a quick natural water way every time it rained. We cut in a ditch on the high side, lined it with riprap, sloped the other side of the driveway to shed water away from driveway and gave the driveway a nice crown in the center for water shed also. 100 tons of dense grade and 25 tons of riprap. We also dug out a culvert that was covered with dirt from overflowing and fixed it with big rock as well.

Been pretty busy here lately and haven’t got to post every single job. From start to finish, this driveway got a whole new make over. Customer was having trouble with water issues washing out the driveway. 2 ditches cut in and filled with big rock to slow down water and prevent wash outs, swell cut on one side of the drive where water used to flood, raked and added 2 tri axle loads of dense grade and packed it down. Finished up a little property clean up job yesterday. Didn’t get any before pics I’m terrible about that. Took out some trees to open it up and make it look more spacious, along with loading a 20 yard dumpster full of junk from previous owners. This will be a neat little get away spot when it’s done.
