Inwood Summer Rec is a recent recipient of an Alliance Keep the Change grant, and they’re putting the funds toward a new building for equipment storage.

The new space will give the program a dedicated place to safely store the equipment that helps keep kids active and having fun all summer long. Their goal is to have the building completed by Spring 2027!

We love seeing Keep the Change dollars support projects that benefit local kids, families and communities.

As part of our 70 Days of Giving, we're proud to support the volunteer fire departments that help keep our communities safe.

These dedicated men and women give their time, energy, and expertise to serve others, often leaving their families, jobs, and daily activities at a moment's notice when help is needed. Their commitment to protecting our communities does not go unnoticed.

We're grateful for all they do and are honored to give back to the volunteer fire departments that make such a difference every day.

The toys are back in this animated adventure from Disney and Pixar, which was released in theaters in June. As we move into the fall season, you may notice brief interruptions on some TV channels due to solar outages.

Solar outages are a natural occurrence that happens when the sun aligns directly behind the satellites that deliver programming to TV providers. This temporary interference can occasionally affect satellite-fed channel feeds during peak sun hours.

What you need to know:
• Outages typically last only 5-7 minutes
• They usually occur during peak sun hours
• Service returns automatically once the interference passes
• These seasonal outages are temporary and expected

If you experience a brief loss of signal, don't worry; it's most likely a solar outage, and your channels should return shortly. These are expected to occur October 7th-11th, 2026.

We’re excited to share another way our Alliance members are making a difference through Keep the Change!

Howard Elementary School recently received a Keep the Change grant, which they put toward the purchase of a new washer and dryer for the school.

It’s a practical addition that will make a difference behind the scenes for students and staff, and we’re happy to help make it possible!

A strong community takes care of one another.

That's why, as part of our 70 Days of Giving campaign, we were honored to support local food banks across our service area. These organizations provide more than meals. They offer hope, support, and encouragement to families facing challenging circumstances.

What if one week could help change a child's life?

Royal Family KIDS Camp provides children who are currently or have previously been in foster care with a week filled with fun, encouragement, friendship, and belonging. It's more than just camp. It's a place where kids can feel safe, celebrated, and empowered to simply be children.

The Sioux Empire camps are made possible entirely by volunteers and generous donors, allowing campers and foster families to attend at no cost. Alliance was honored to make a donation to Royal Family Kids Sioux Empire during our 70 Days of Giving Campaign.

This morning, some of our staff had the privilege of attending the annual Call to Freedom CommUNITY Breakfast.

Call to Freedom is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation through trauma-informed care and comprehensive support services.

We're thankful for the opportunity to hear powerful stories, learn more about their mission, and support the incredible work they do throughout our region.
