These two beautiful bathroom projects were actually completed a few months ago, but we had to wait for the final inspection before sharing the finished results.

For these bathrooms, we installed:

🚨 From Death to Life: Laundry Room Rescue! 🚨

This laundry room floor is a perfect example of why proper tile installation matters.

We were called in after another installation went wrong. The floor had excessive lippage (uneven tile edges), poor installation practices, and was headed for long-term problems. Instead of covering up the issues, we did it the right way.

✅ Scraped and removed all existing thinset
✅ Prepared a smooth, solid foundation
✅ Reinstalled the tile with proper spacing and alignment
✅ Ready for grout and final finishing touches

🚧 Laundry Room Rescue – Why Hiring a Professional Matters 🚧

This laundry room is a perfect example of why tile installation is more than just setting tile.

We were called in after another installation had already been completed. Unfortunately, the floor had excessive lippage (uneven tile heights) and installation issues that left the homeowner unhappy with the final result.

Instead of covering up the problem, we did it the right way:

✔ Removed all existing thinset down to the concrete slab
✔ Created a smooth, clean foundation
✔ Properly installed the new tile with the proper mortar
✔ Used a leveling system to ensure a flat, professional finish

The photos show the progression from the original floor, to the surface preparation, to today’s installation. Tomorrow we’ll grout the floor and complete the project.

One of the biggest misconceptions in remodeling is that all tile installations are the same. The truth is, proper substrate preparation, layout, coverage, and leveling make all the difference between a floor that looks good for a few months and one that performs for years.

Hiring a qualified tile professional may cost a little more upfront, but it can save thousands of dollars in repairs and replacement later.

🔨 Project Complete! 🔨

We recently wrapped up the tile installation on these bathrooms and kitchen backsplash, and we’re proud of how everything turned out.

For the bathrooms, we installed 12” x 24” marble-look tile on the shower and tub surround walls, paired with a clean hexagon shower floor for a timeless, low-maintenance finish. In the kitchen, we installed a classic 6” x 12” subway-style backsplash that ties everything together beautifully.

Sometimes the best designs aren’t the most complicated—they’re the ones that are clean, functional, and installed with precision.
