I was raised with the knowledge that when you throw something away, it doesn't go away, it goes somewhere else, and that throwing it away doesn't release you from the responsibility of what and where it is. So, I've always tried my best to be responsible for my 'trash'. Being aware of the packaging and considering that before a purchase. I hate to toss out anything that might be useful to someone
else. I know I'm not the only one. I've started this on-line community for people who have something that is too good to trash, but needs a home, to have a platform to let people know about it, and maybe your items can find a home. Someone is looking for just what you have. This community is not to make people money. However, asking for a small amount money for packing, shipping, is totally acceptable. The goal is to allow people to find items which would otherwise end in a landfill, lake, or someone's yard. Is there a teacher who needs 50 toilet paper tubes for a class art project?
