A year and a half ago I purchased my 2nd investment property and I thought it’d be a good time to give you a little update.

Venturing into the world of real estate, hospitality, and design has changed things for me.

It’s helped me feel more confident about my long-term financial path, it’s allowed me to explore creativity and design, and I find the hospitality part super satisfying.

The serves two purposes at this time.

One is to host guests as a vacation rental.

The other is to provide a space for my 1-1 Vermont Business Immersion Retreat clients.

This offer is an extension of what I’ve been doing in Mexico for the past 12 years, but it’s different because it’s 1-1 time with me and with yourself.

It’s the perfect setting for reflecting on your business & life and then creating a strategy to continue to evolve.

The space itself is part of my own business evolution, so it’s very special to be able to share it with those on a similar journey.

Restorative + Productive.

When designing the 1-1 Vermont Business Immersion Retreat, I asked myself what would I want as a client / guest? How do I want to feel while I’m there and when I leave?

I think we’re all craving in-person experiences, so that’s a given.

It has to have an element of nature, because nature has a way of clearing away the gunk and bringing us back to what’s important.

It needs to be in a beautiful place, obviously!

From a selfish perspective, I feel proud. I’ve created something that pulls together all of my own interests around women in business, hospitality, and real estate (because I own , where guests stay!)

These may be your interests, or they may not be, but that’s what’s beautiful about this experience - we’re working to help you move towards what YOU are evolving into. How YOU can weave in the things you love into your work, so you actually feel lucky. I do!

Did you know that women could not even hold a mortgage until 1974?

Before that it was legal to deny unmarried women a mortgage or require a male cosigner. Married women needed their husband‘s permission and signature. 😳

Ladies, that wasn’t that long ago.

Part of my mission as a small biz / lifestyle coach is to help women make money doing work they love.

This mission is evolving from just earning money to investing it wisely for long term wealth building which = more control, more choices, more sovereignty, more freedom.

As a small business owner myself, I started learning about real estate about five years ago to provide an extra stream of income, and as a way to build up my net worth / retirement.

As part of the Insta+Connect Challenge we are running this week (which is absolutely amazing if you haven’t heard!), we are dishing out prompts to help folks think creatively about marketing on IG.

Today’s prompt is to share a behind the scenes glimpse of your work, and I have the perfect thing!

I’m co-hosting the Insta+Connect Challenge with and today the prompt is to share a dream I had as a kid and how it connects (or doesn’t) to what I’m doing now.

Here goes… As a kid, I loved exploring historic neighborhoods and wondered who lived in these houses and what they did for a living. I still love historic homes, in fact I’ve started to collect them as part of my new real estate investment obsession.

It’s when your energy + brand attracts ideal clients / customers by aligning with their values, needs, and aesthetic.

When you are energized by the work you love and connecting with the right people, your energy naturally draws in even more of the right opportunities.

It’s the opposite of bro marketing with all its pushy sales tactics —it’s about showing up, sharing, and letting that spark ripple outward.
