You can decide to get in shape as much as you want.
You can decide to be a top earner as much as you want.
You can decide to write that book as much as you want.

But no progress is made until you align your habits with those decisions.

If you want to get in shape, make it a habit to eat right and exercise every day.
If you want to be a top earner, make it a habit to present to 3 people every day.
If you want to write a book, make it a habit to write 1,000 words every day.

You see? If you want to make any long term progress, it really comes down to the habit you have and whether or not they're serving you.

Remember these 10 words. They will change your life:

"Your habits can destroy your life of craft your destiny"

Developing these habits are pretty easy. The problem, however, is that it's easier to just not develop them.

People don’t decide their future. People decide their habits and their habits decide their future.

One of the habits I committed to 20 years ago was feeding my mind so that my level of skill was among the best in the world. Obviously, I had to back up that learning with action, but aside from action, voracious learning has been the biggest key to my success in each area of my life.

Keep this in mind and make learning a priority. It will serve you for the rest of your life.

Your Success Comes Down to a Few Key 🔑 Factors…

This is the order of those factors…

Number 1️⃣ is the most important. Number 5️⃣ is the least important:

1. Commitment - Are you willing to commit and decide that success is inevitable❓

2. Ex*****on - Are you willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals❓

3. Discipline - Are you willing to listen, be coachable, and follow instructions❓

4. Skill - Are you willing to develop the skills that can make you wealthy without requiring you to work more hours to make more money❓

5. Talent - What is your natural ability and intelligence❓

Notice that talent is the least important factor in your success.

Why⁉️

Because talent doesn’t matter if you’re not willing to do the work.

Talent is less important than skill because anyone can learn the skills.

Talent just dictates how quickly you’ll learn those skills. And it dictates the level you can rise to.

Talent separates people at the TOP of their game. Even relatively untalented people go pro in sports. They become rich. They become incredibly successful.

Sometimes talent is the double-edged sword that keeps you from success. (Stop over thinking 💭 it)

This is the case for a lot of people who play sports. They are very physically talented but they never develop a work ethic. They never develop the mental and emotional skills necessary to become the best because they always fall back on their talent.

Discipline CAN be easy. Discipline is a skill too. If you have the discipline to follow instructions then you can succeed. (Follow instructions and take messy action) 📈

Ex*****on is simple, but it’s not always easy. Ex*****on means doing what you say you’re going to do. It means finishing what you start. If you can do that, you’re different from 95% of the population. And you deserve a Cookie 🍪

Commitment is the keystone factor in your success. If you don’t want it, it’s not going to happen. If you don’t decide that you’re going to succeed no matter what, then you probably won’t.

If that scares you, that’s ok. It’s okay to be scared. It’s okay to feel fear. Fear is necessary. It’s a compass. We’d all be dead if we didn’t experience fear.

It’s okay to be afraid. But it’s not okay to let that fear stop you. Not if you truly want the thing you say you want.

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

The focus is when helping people build or grow businesses is to make things easier. If so many naturally lazy people can succeed because they learn how to be disciplined, you can too ‼️
