Announcing TEDxClub! It's like a monthly book club only you have no homework to read a book, and you still get the wine, and get to hang out with friends over expansive conversation.

Our first one is next Tuesday, May 2nd at the Eclipse Theater (formerly Breckenridge Backstage Theatre).

Our intention is to create space for true disruptive conversation and connection (before, during, after), bring ideas that are of interest to our broad local community, and offer a variety of talks (heady, artsy, personal, worldly).

This first one will be unique as it curates the best of the best from the 2023 TED Conference before being released to the public!

Doors open at 5:30pm for connection and concessions.

Show starts at 6:30pm. Please join us!

Time | How do leaders and employees spend their time most?

Practices | What institutional practices can be observed?

Policies | What do the policies say about the company values?

Decisions | What do organizational decisions say about the values?

Interactions | What do cross-department and regional interactions show?

Partnerships/Alliances | Who does your company partner with and how?

Testimonials | What do customers experience and what do they say?

Community | How does your company show up in their communities?

Goals | What are your company’s most consistent long-term goals?

Development | What is employee development focused on?

Media | What do you see in the media about your company?

TEAM VALUES IN ACTION

Similar to individual values in action, what you set goals around, what you spend money on, and the decisions you make all reflect the values of the team. Values alignment is key to high performance. REFRAME TO REGAIN

Reframing is a powerful tool to help you regain your personal power, regain your energy, regain your focus. It offers a way of viewing and experiencing events, ideas, concepts, and emotions in a way that better supports yourself and others. It is a practical and valuable tool to shift perception...and one that we all have immediate and free access to.

Think of reframing as putting on a different pair of glasses. When you switch your glasses, what you see changes. Reframing, mentally and linguistically, does the same thing. It changes the story you tell yourself about something. And before your eyes, that something changes. Reframing on a regular basis can literally rewire your brain and begin to build new neural pathways.

What you focus on grows. So what are you going to choose to focus on?
