Big Days! So worth the effort! A crazy drive to enjoy a blue bird powder day. So so needed! Then to Leadville for the insane Ski Joring comp., such a cowboy scene! Love it.

Mom was walking better today (misplaced her dentures 😬), but I decided staying at her community for the afternoon was the best call since it was cold and sloppy outside. I grabbed a couple of old photo albums from my storage unit and some pre-made chocolate chip cookie dough (our fav!).

We had a fun afternoon, looking at pics, making cookies (eating the dough), and sharing with her friends at the community. She picked out Papa Nate, “my Dad,” she would say, and “Patty”, “Joni,” and loved seeing me as her “chubby baby.” So cute! She also picked out Nana, but not by name. I loved all of the old pics….Lots of Nana & Papa, my Dad, and Uncle Gage. ❤️

I did it! I ran the Rim to Rim Royal Gorge Run half marathon! Happily, I beat my last half marathon (2023) time by 8 mins, but oh boy, the effort kicked my butt! So grateful Jeff Westcott was there to witness the effort and cheer me on…and help me walk after I finished!

Great weekend! Hung out with Mom on Friday and the Park /Summit crew for a little camping extravaganza with fun bellylaughs and giggles all evening! Amazing ladies! ❤️🥰
