Hello Friends,

Well...we made it. This week marks the beginning of the 49th harvest at Vynecrest Vineyards and Winery.

For me, Harvest always brings on a lot of emotions - the end of summer, start of a new school year, and that over the next 8 weeks something will go wrong. As my father, John, once told me "the people that never make mistakes are the people who never try anything." Well, between a brand new press - our first new one in 40 years - and everything else Mother Nature has thrown at us this year....what could go wrong? I wouldn't want it any other way because that's what makes Vynecrest feel like home to me.

As my mother, Jan, always says "everything is under control."
