Dove season is quickly approaching, so we wanted to re-share a few important reminders again before opening day THIS Saturday.

REMEMBER:

❌Utility lines are never in season -- Do NOT shoot at doves perched on lines.

❌ Just one hit to a fiber optic cable can lead to a widespread outage for you and your neighbors.

❌ Don't hit a line, or you'll pay the fine! Responsible parties will be held liable for repair cost.

✅ Do have fun and stay safe this dove hunting season!

Is your stream buffering — but your internet is fine?

Here's something worth knowing: if Netflix, YouTube TV, Hulu, Paramount +, and HBO Max are running smoothly but another streaming app is freezing up, the problem almost certainly isn't your connection. It's the app.

Some streaming platforms sold outside of official app stores (often at a one-time price that sound too good to be true) run on servers that weren't built to handle a lot of people watching at once. When thousands of users tune in at the same time, those servers get overwhelmed. The result? Buffering. Freezing. Frustration.

Your Crossbeam fiber connection is doing its job. The platform just can't keep up. So make sure you are streaming with the right apps.
