Join us this Friday May 1st from 5 to 8pm for Artwalk fearing the talented Kati McKinley for her very first show.

Kati McKinley, born and raised in the PNW, is a proud mother and dedicated student of the arts. Her work explores mixed media, collage, and acrylic painting, with this collection highlighting her experimentation in texture and form. Each piece reflects a deep connection to mood and botanicals, inviting viewers into a layered, expressive visual experience.

Ivan will also be featuring his leather work and refreshments provided. ♥️

Spark Commons will be open today as we are a community space that many rely on as a safe place to be. Whether you’re working, reading a book, or creating something new, we are here for you.

We will be hosting a donation drive for the next 30 days to support the Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. ♥️

Items we will be collecting

•. Maseca
• Dry black beans
• White rice
• Vegetable oil
• Household goods: Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, toothpaste, shampoo.
• Children’s books in Spanish or bilingual English/Spanish.

We stopped in at Omni Cafe on Wednesday! It's one of the newest cafes in Bremerton and we wanted to give it the old co-working try! Two of us had lunch (veggie BBQ burgers) and one of us had breakfast (Texas toast) and everything was delicious!

Two fun facts:
Fun fact number one: we didn't know it was a veggie restaurant! We were also not sad. All of us were meat eaters and all of us enjoyed our options very much!

Fun fact number two: there is a little friend in the shape of a dinosaur in the restaurant named Thomas. Pictured below.

We had a good time and would recommend. It does seem like they're in a soft opening phase and are still getting their products in!
