Texas electronics manufacturing continues to grow, and I love seeing the momentum happening right here in our state. 🇺🇸

AI, data centers, energy and advanced technology continue to drive new opportunities throughout the electronics manufacturing industry.

And something I think is important to remember:

The AI conversation may start with the chip, but it certainly doesn’t end there.

Behind all of this technology is an entire manufacturing supply chain supporting it:

As someone who has spent many years in the electronics manufacturing industry, I love seeing continued investment in Texas manufacturing, technology and jobs.

Your electronics manufacturing partner should make your job easier, not give you another problem to manage.

When you’re responsible for purchasing, engineering, or keeping production moving, the last thing you need is to chase a supplier for updates.

You need answers.

You need realistic lead times.

You need quality you can depend on.

One thing I genuinely enjoy about business development is the research behind it.

I love learning about different companies, what they manufacture, how their products work, and most importantly, what those products are actually being used for.

Working in the electronics manufacturing industry has made me even more curious about what goes on behind the scenes. When I see a piece of equipment or technology, I find myself wondering:

What’s inside of it?
How is it being built?
Where does the PCBA fit in?
What about the cable assemblies or wire harnesses?
And what does that product ultimately do in the real world?

For me, research isn’t just about finding the next potential customer. It’s about educating myself and understanding the industries we serve.

The more I learn about what a company does, the better I can understand where Our BENCOR Team may be able to support them.

And after 15+ years in this industry, I’m still learning something new all the time, and that’s one of my favorite parts of what I do.

9/11 — We Will Never Forget

25 years later, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

But we also remember something else, how America came together.

We prayed together. We helped one another. We stood together as Americans. ❤️🤍💙

Today, my prayer is that we never forget not only what happened that day, but the unity, compassion, faith, and strength we showed in the days that followed.

May God continue to comfort the families who lost loved ones, protect our first responders and military, and bless this country we call home.

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Engineering, Derek brings strong technical knowledge and a hands-on approach to the BENCOR team.

As our resident engineer, Derrick works closely with our production team to help troubleshoot technical challenges, support manufacturing processes, and ensure our customers’ products are built with quality and precision in mind. Whether he’s reviewing documentation, solving a problem on the production floor, or working through the details behind the scenes, Derrick helps keep projects moving forward.
