1919 - Building takes on role as Prohibition Enforcement Headquarters due to the Volstead Act

January 1922 - It is discovered that the telephone lines at the Prohibition Headquarters had been tapped for months!

On December 31st, 1933 - Volstead Act is repealed and replaced with 21st Amendment of the Constitution

End of Prohibition to current day - Occupied by a slew of novelty and apparel firms until now when Oscar Wilde will settle into the space!

For the past eight months, I’ve been working on a major leadership coaching project with a large Canadian company, guiding their leaders toward growth and development. Today marks a milestone—a graduation of sorts—where these leaders will present their outcomes based on their areas of focus throughout our coaching journey. It’s been an incredible experience watching their transformation, and I’m excited to see how they apply these insights moving forward! 💡👏

In May we decide to take a short trip to celebrate our anniversary. But we just couldn’t decide where to go.

Then we remembered that we had plans to attend a wedding in Texas in November. ✈️
So we had the brilliant idea of tagging on an anniversary trip in our favorite state. ⭐️

The great state of Texas did not disappoint. The weather was absolutely perfect! Here are our 💫 Highlights: wedding, meeting some of the newest family members and getting lots of good hugs, seeing my cousins on my dad’s side, Tex Mex Food, Carne Guisada, Texas Hill Country, margaritas, hikes, Texas BBQ, Barton Springs, Wimberly, TX, Chicken Fried Steaks, Luckenbach, TX, & Fredericksburg, TX.

🌴👯‍♀️ Girls Trip 2024 Recap 👯‍♀️🌴
This week was all about celebrating wins, 💼💃 From getting raises, a daughter’s engagement, closing deals, landing new clients, to dancing to 80’s music on the beach—this trip had it all. 🎶🌊
We dined alfresco 🍽, floated for hours in the calm, blue waters of the Emerald Coast 🌊💙, watched stunning sunsets 🌅, and shared stories about our 22 kids (plus our 12.5 grandies and fur babies)!Oh, and let’s not forget the seafood feasts 🍤 🦀 and that hilarious TikTok video we made. 😆
We watched Palm Royale and the VP debate, we talked politics... and sometimes, we didn’t. 😉 Thank you to our hostess with the mostest, Dawn
It was just pure, perfect moments catching up and creating new memories together. Thanks to our hostess
