Yesterday Carin from Penquis visited our meeting to share about the new Bright Beginnings Child Development Center coming to Bangor.

When it opens it will add 46 new daycare slots for local families, something our community truly needs.

Penquis is raising funds through a Buy A Brick campaign, and there is a friendly competition between the four Bangor BNI chapters to see who can purchase the most.

If you buy a brick, make sure to mention Black Bear BNI so it counts toward our chapter.
