**Job Title: Experienced Truck Driver**
**Location:** Brewster, New York

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience to join our team in Brewster, New York. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and have basic mechanical skills. This position requires driving both standard and automatic dump trucks. Must be able to load the trucks with a loader, loader operator skills is a must! Excavator operating skills a plus but can be taught . You will be expected to work 40-50 hours per week.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and miles driven, in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow routing instructions.
- Load trucks with a loader
- Handle basic mechanical tasks and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of Dump (other heavy equipment) truck driving experience.
- Valid CDL (Class A or 😎 with a clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Ability to drive both standard and automatic dump trucks.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
