And I'm Back! Small batch today. An unnamed culprit KILLED my sourdough starter! Unfortunately I did not have any mature starter preserved; so I had to start over from square one. But that's okay my starter is now mature again and I'm back in business, doing what I love!

Take this time to pick up a hobby you've always wanted to try. YouTube is filled with creators. If what you want to do seems challenging or you feel like you need someone to teach you, just try! Your results will often shock you. I taught myself an artesian craft from lots of reading and watching my favorite YouTube chefs! For me there's nothing more gratifying taking a perfect loaf out of the oven.

Taking these Strange Times to hone my craft. Sourdough breads come with so many variables when baking. It's a tremendous learning curve, but so worth it when you see results!
Times like this make it is so important to lead a sustainable life and support small businesses. Baking things yourself that you regularly eat is a great way to save money and reduce your carbon footprint and waste.
