Smalley Consulting Ashley Smalley is the Founder of Smalley Consulting, a Human Resources consulting firm focused on building unity one team at a time. One team at a time.

Her passion is for people to enjoy their work because they enjoy the people with whom they work, and she accomplishes this with her talent for dedicated leadership and tailored people development strategies. Ashley is a certified human resources professional, a trusted consultant, and an adept facilitator in the workplace culture sphere. Her eclectic work experience from retail, local government, oil and gas, and the local church has given her a unique perspective on people in the workplace, regardless of industry. She uses that perspective to bring practical teaching that can be utilized immediately. Ashley is a facilitator, keynote speaker, unity advocate, and lover of people. She has graced national platforms at businesses, service organizations, churches, and educational institutions, equipping them with the essential skills they need to foster unity within their teams. Ashley is also the Family Enrichment Coordinator for First Baptist Church in Bridgeport, Texas, where she leads the women’s and marriage ministry teams. Her focus there is developing leaders in the church so that ministry can be multiplied. She is married to her high school sweetheart. Together they live with their two incredible daughters – one who loves rules and one who loves to ignore all the rules – in an incredibly loud house. Ashley Smalley’s ultimate mission is to transform workplaces into unified organizations where productivity and employee satisfaction thrive.

Another action-packed week in the books! Here’s a quick look at everything that kept us busy and joyful:

🎂 Still filled with awe and gratitude after celebrating KIA's second birthday this month!
🍬 Learned how to be a better teammate at the Hamilton Form workshop, where a round of "Dude Bingo" proved that finding common ground comes with sweet rewards.
🏐 Out-of-state friends made the trip in to cheer on #4, making that epic come-from-behind win on Friday night even sweeter!
🥧 Pumpkin Pie is officially a household staple again - skip the plate, it comes in one.
🥁 Harper completely crushed her very first pep rally rocking the snare drum!
🍂 The Smalley kids had a great fall break.
🎃 The GT kids scooped & carved their way into the festive spirit with some good old family pumpkin carving!
💪🏼 Between replacing two doorknobs (never underestimate a "sturdy" wife) and finding an actual 🪹 bird’s nest in the attic, the home maintenance department had a wild week!
❤️ Wade turned FIVE yesterday! They grow up entirely too fast.

That’s a wrap on HUB International’s Texas Leadership Summit 2026 for the Smalley Consulting team!
We loved this year’s theme: "Leading with Heart (& Spine)."
It was a perfect blend of high-energy insights and practical strategies for balancing genuine empathy with real accountability in the workplace.
A few highlights from our experience:
✨ We gained incredible perspectives on culture, mindset, and performance psychology from phenomenal speakers like Dr. Rick Perea, Barb Guzman and Libby Gill. Getting to step away from the desks as a team to learn, recharge, and even squeeze in some in-car manicures (287 was a slow roll for a good stretch) and selfies!
We made it back to Wise County with full hearts (and spines!) and a ton of fresh ideas to implement along with confirmation on some things SC is already doing well. We’re excited to bring this renewed energy to our clients in both Learning & Development and Creative Solutions.
