So I had a plastic recycle "bin" I replaced with a sleeker looking one. Wanted to repurpose plastic "bin", so made it into a makeshift potting station with items I own.
- bottom compartment holds potting soil
- top compartment holds misc plant pots
- side hook holds crossbody sack for garden gloves and small shovel
- tile sample lies on top for counter area. ( you can obtain discontinued tile samples at tile flooring stores)

I found a vintage coat hook to repurpose. I fastened on my wall by my cart to hold my dog leashes. Works well.

So i have a rescue dog with allergy issues so have lots of things i need readily & other things i use for outside my apartment. So i found a cool vintage cart with casters to repurpose & place next to my front door. I put all my dogs meds and such in a bin. I put her coats/sweaters in a bin. I placed all her immediate things on cart top. I used the metal bar to hang her harness. All organized and at the ready! I needed a wheel cart btw to move from coat closet and to vacuum. Works GREAT! Hope this creates ideas for your home. So go organize away!!!

Hi all. This week i am posting containers i use for bathroom items to keep them grouped together leaving a cleaner surface. I put sale catalogs in a nice looking plant pot on the toilet back for reading, oils in a handmade art dish, smaller containers in a vintage stove pot. There are so many great looking items beside container store stuff to use, plus you are repurposing items that you already have. So take a look at what you may be able to repurpose. So go organize!

Hi all. I store my bathroom stuff on a shelving unit since i dont have a medicine cabinet. It is an eyesore i guess because its the first thing you see. With limited funds, i found a cheap fabric and took advantage of towel and rug sales. I just cut the fabric, no sewing done and draped over the unit. I changed my color scheme and voila! A new look. Before and after. Will post other changes next week. So go organize!

Hi all. This weekend I tackled a canned food cabinet. I moved the storage jars to a lower cabinet to make room for items I use more. I went thru all and threw away expired items first. Ground spices should be kept an average of 2 years. I started dating the caps of herbs I buy. The top shelf is for items not pulled as much, so I moved up the tea items in a clear container along with duplicate items. I use a step organizer for spices and a lazy susan with clear high sides to easily navigate the smaller things that may get hidden in the back cabinet. I placed all like cans together in a row, so I easily see what I have. Such as all tomato products in a row, all soups in a row, each bean variety, etc. Take a look at the before and after pics. I hope this inspires you to tackle your kitchen cabinets. Go organize!

Well I will try to make my weekly posts simpler. I found a match game from a design rep. The squares look cool. Instead of keeping them stored and taking up room, I decided to repurpose them. I created a collage and floated them in a frame. Came out great! You can do this with old games u used to play,, frame the board or game pieces, etc. It alleviates space while showcasing memories! So go organize!

Then switched sheet sets to shelf and extra stuff into cart. I love using things i have before going to buy anything. Also, keep your sturdy shoe boxes because you can use them to compartmentalize items in ur home. The cart is great so you can get an overall view of items im running low on. I used the bottom shelf of cart for a few extra towels if needed.
