If you joined us for lunch last month, you heard from Refuge for Women North Texas about the work they’re doing to provide safety, healing, hope, and employment opportunities for women rebuilding their lives after trafficking and exploitation.

Through Survivor Made, women can earn an income while creating handcrafted products, including beautiful leather bags. It’s more than a job. It’s an opportunity to build skills, confidence, independence, and a new future.

Here are a few ways our community can help their local house feel like home:

🛒 Sponsor a week of groceries for $70
💜 Become a monthly donor
⛪ Invite them to churches & community events
🙌 Volunteer your time and talents

Today is the day! We're so excited to see everyone after a long summer break.
🚨Registration IS CLOSED for today's lunch 👉 we CANNOT sell you a ticket at the door.

Yep, that's exactly what we need.
Paul tells us from prison in Colossians 4:2-4 "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison - that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak."

We may not be in physical prison, Paul gives us the perfect example of the posture of prayer:
- Devote yourself & stay alert.
- Pray for God-given opportunities.
- Ask for divine clarity.

We believe that you don't just pray for circumstances to change, but to pray for God to open doors within your circumstances. Don't worry, everything is great! We have continuously seen God's favor & blessings in all things around us. He has already moved so greatly in KIA, and we are ready to see what's coming next!

🚨REGISTRATION for Kingdom in Action AUGUST 2026 Lunch & Learn! is CLOSED🚨

For our registered attendees, we can't wait to see you TOMORROW!

The Menu:
🍽 Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwiches
Slow roasted pork tenderloin dressed with sweet and slightly spicy BBQ sauce served on artisan buns with coleslaw and loaded potato salad and chocolate cake.
👉GF options available for those that selected the *Gluten Free* option while purchasing tickets.

The Details:
📍 Where: 2010 W US 380, Decatur, TX (East side building entrance, where the awning meets the hotel).

When:
⏰ Doors open at 11:15 AM. Lunch starts at 11:30.

What to Expect:
👥 Our team will be there to check you in and point you toward the food. We encourage you to grab a plate and connect with someone new. Making Kingdom connections is what this is all about! We’ll provide pens and paper, but feel free to bring your laptop or tablet if that’s more your style.
