In Pittsburgh, as in most cities, you have Uber, Lyft and countless other driving services. Also here in Pittsburgh, we have something called CabbyGo.

These companies, for the most part operate like this:

Base fare – A flat fee charged at the beginning of the ride

Cost per minute – How much you’re charged for each minute you’re inside the ride

Cost per mile – How much you’re charged for each mile of the ride

Booking Fee (Formerly known as the ‘Safe Rides Fee’) – A flat fee to cover ‘operational costs’

Surge pricing: A multiplier anywhere from 1.1x added to your fare, but not including the booking fee

Tipping (Optional): You can use their app to tip your driver after the ride is over

Drive PGH DOES NOT HAVE by the mile charges, by the minute charges, base fares, surge pricing, booking fees.

We have flat rates that apply to everyone equally. We have rates for trips to the airport that are $25 and it doesn't matter the time of day.

We do offer discounts if you book and pay in advance for 5 rides or more.

We offer weekly and monthly billing.
