The roots of the business go back to 1947 when Joe Shimkus founded the business. Today Bridgewater Farm Supply processes mulches and compost at its yard and delivers landscape
materials in all quantities. Its large fleet of trucks delivers farm materials such as feed hay, straw, wood shavings, sawdust and other horse beddings throughout the Northeast U.S. to horse farms, dairies and veterinary colleges. Locally, stables and farms pick up at our store in Bridgewater or get deliveries from smaller trucks. Our store in Bridgewater is interesting just to walk through.
