Today I dont have a new print, but I thought it would be cool to show the printing process of a custom print. The first step is to prepare the file for the printer. The first picture shows 3 busses could fit on my printer bed, but I only printed 1 at a time. This particular print ended up needing an extra skinny platform under the bus and it's supports which is slightly seeable in the first picture. As you can see in the second picture this print took roughly 14 hours to print and in that particular picture I was using the rest of the yellow filament that I had. After the print finishes you then have to take off and support that you may have added to help with arch ways or long overhangs. Support are easy to take off unless that are small or in a small space. This process took about half an hour if not less to take off all the supports. After I got as much supports off as I could I then used Testor's brand spray paint to paint both the white filament and yellow filament busses(the yellow filament printed someone translucent and somewhat off colored when looking up close to it). After spraying the bus I then used 2 different Sharpy brand pens. The windows are painted with a needle point sharp pen as it can get into smaller places and can also do cleaner lines. The darker black lines on the sides and back of the bus were painted with a Sharpy paint marker. The next step I had was doing the other various colors such as the stop sign, flashing lights, wheels, and the strobe light. The bottom of the bus is not painted. The last step was to spray paint the bus with a clear paint to prevent paint wearing from handling. Adding all the paint for 1 bus took roughly 2 hours. All together if I do 1 bus at a time, from computer file to finished product, each bus would take 20 hours to create and paint.

Today's post isn't something new but a continuation. I was able to check up with my barber to see how the Clipper Guard Holder was working for him. So far it has been working as requested.

Here, we have what could be considered my first custom print. It was created for myself to help keep my small model paints upright to reduce the chance of spilling while in storage. Each space is sized to fit a Testors brand model paint or anything of a similar size. The depth of each hole is just low enough that you can read the name of the color but also high enough so that they can't be easily knocked over while in place. You could have a paint opened while in a hole and not have to worry about spilling it. The width and length are sized to fit in a 15 1/4" by 11 1/2" box. The end goal is to print enough things to hold and organize everything inside the box. Custom boxes for organizing are available to be orderedHere, we have what could be considered my first custom print. Today we are looking at the first custom order that I have created. One day while talking to my barber, he had asked if I could make a Clipper Guard Holder that would house all his attachments since the store bought item did not do so. The second requirement he had asked for is that the attachments should lay in a way that he could push the clipper into the attachment, while still in the holder, and then pull out the 2 of them together. As shown in the last picture. His print, which I do not have picture of, includes his name on both of the larger faces. The Clipper Guard Holder holds sizes 1/2, 1 , 1 1/2, and 2-8. The Clipper Guard Holder is being sold for $10 (name on sides included, if wanted), and $15 if a different color is requested.

This is a stackable trading card organizing box and lid that I created using a 3d printer. It takes roughly 16 hours to make one box and one lid together. Both the box and lids are designed to fit into each other in order to stack as high as needed. Both sides of the box are sized to fit up to 200 trading cards compressed. Any cards of a similar size to the example cards can fit in the slots. Note that no card pretectors can be on the cards when placed in the slots.
One box and one lid is being sold for $21

I have a school bus pencil holder. The original bus file was not created by me. I added the rectangle and holes for writing utensils on top. This bus was printed in white pla and then painted yellow. However, new pencil holders will be printed in yellow pla. The bus can be painted differently if requested.
This pencil holder is being sold for $15.
