Job description:
DMV Restorations, Inc. is a multi-family leader and Class A General Contractor specializing in remodeling and restoration services within the Commercial and Residential sectors.
We're looking for someone who knows HVAC to join our growing field operations team. You will be the primary resource for HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across our multi-family residential portfolio, including occupied apartment buildings, condominium communities, and mixed-use properties throughout the DMV. This is a hands-on field role with real upward mobility for the right person.
Why this role is different
This isn't a typical "good luck getting 5 minutes with your boss" role. You'll have direct access to a large support team who backs you up in the field and remotely, whenever you need and wherever you are.
This role is built to launch careers, not park them. We're a growing multi-company organization that is actively developing and hiring people. The right person will gain real exposure to project management, contract management, and business development.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in multi-family residential buildings, including split systems, PTACs, packaged units, heat pumps, mini-splits, and ventilation equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues; determine root cause and execute correct solutions with minimal callbacks.
Perform seasonal preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment across the portfolio; maintain service logs and unit histories.
Coordinate with property managers, building staff, and residents to schedule and complete work with minimal disruption to occupied units.
Produce timely, accurate service reports and document each dispatch in company systems.
Assist with air duct cleaning, coil cleaning, filter replacement, thermostat programming, and system commissioning as needed.
Support the broader field team with related mechanical and maintenance tasks, including:
Light plumbing and electrical work related to HVAC systems
Fixture and appliance removal/installation
General building maintenance as dispatched
Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain compliance with all traffic and company policies.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates; share job status and field updates across the organization in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
EPA 608 Certification highly preferred (Universal preferred; Sections I–II minimum).
2+ years of HVAC service experience, with demonstrated experience in multi-family residential buildings strongly preferred.
Proficiency with PTAC units, split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits, and commercial packaged equipment.
Working knowledge of related trades: air duct systems, light plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment specs, and building blueprints.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish — both written and verbal.
Comfortable with mobile tools, dispatch apps, and digital service documentation platforms.
Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a background screening.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Benefits:

Dental insurance
