If you have a standard 48 hour test done on your home once and it was below the EPA’s recommended action level of 4.0 pCi/L, that does not mean it won’t change.

Colder temperatures and heavy rainfall tend to increase the concentration of radon in your home by forcing more air into your home due to the difference in pressure.

It is a good idea to have your home tested in various seasons to see if your home is susceptible to high radon concentrations throughout the year.

Home is Centreville Va. tested today at 21.4 pCi/L. EPA’s recommended action level to remediate is 4.0 pCi/L or higher!
