DeJong Brothers was awarded the Guilderland CSD phase 1 capital project site contract. Consisting of milling, paving, demolition, site work, and athletic field building at 4 schools in the Guilderland school district. Another school project pushing the limits to complete before the new school year.

Over at Shaker HS the crew and the big 350 are putting in the work. At this project DeJong Brothers is proving their worth with under ground utilities. Removing and installing new water mains, sewer mains, storm sewer, a geo thermal system, fiber optic, and electrical with precision, safety, and style. Now that schools out we have switch gears to “ area H” to demo and complete then new side walks, stairs and, storm sewer before the new school year, while also accommodating a new foundation addition for the new “J wing” and new 16’ tall retaining walls for the new fire access road.

At the Schenectady CSD HS project, DeJong Brothers crew is showing no mercy, even when the work is small and meticulous. Such as excavation in side the school court yards and in the school buildings. Now that school is out DeJong Brothers has introduced our brand new 135p to help us install the new water main feeding the Schenectady HS. This new machine has helped us excavate in the crowded Schenectady city streets around electric, sewer, storm, fiber optic, 2 twelve in gas mains, and a monster 36” water line.
