🚨Team Spotlight Tuesday🚨

This week, we’re highlighting Jeff Harcourt, who is in his third year at Emerald Resource Group.

After spending more than 20 years with a private equity firm along with experience in public accounting and the insurance industry Jeff retired… briefly. As he puts it, his golf game wasn’t improving fast enough, so he joined Emerald to help build out our financial division.

Today, Jeff specializes in business development for financial services firms including CPA firms, investment banks, and private equity groups, while also supporting manufacturing companies with their financial talent needs.

What he enjoys most about business development?
“Meeting talented executives and finding solutions to their staffing needs.”

Jeff’s favorite clients are those with strong ethics, a focus on culture, and a commitment to employee development values that align closely with our approach at Emerald.

When he’s not connecting top financial talent with great organizations, you’ll likely find him golfing or spending winter on Marco Island.

Meet Lexi, Accounting & Finance Recruiter at Emerald Resource Group!

She didn’t grow up planning to become a recruiter. After months of applying to sales roles and facing rejection, she found her way into recruiting and discovered a career that perfectly matched what she always wanted: working with people and being rewarded for hard work.

What she enjoys most is building real relationships and helping candidates who may be in tough situations land opportunities that genuinely improve their workday. For her, the best partnerships feel less like transactions and more like friendships built on open communication and trust.

She specializes in Accounting & Finance recruiting, including Investment Banking, Private Equity, Audit & Tax, and industry roles such as VP of Finance, Controller, and Cost Accountant. While many clients are in the Midwest, she also works on national searches.

Outside of work, she’s deeply involved in the Cleveland volleyball community, playing in leagues and weekend tournaments year-round. When she’s not on the court, she enjoys working out or winding down with a glass of wine and a good book.

After 2.5 years at Emerald, her favorite part is the culture. Recruiting can be a grind, but having a team you can laugh with after a tough call makes all the difference.

Meet Mark Krusinski Jr, Technical Recruiter at Emerald Resource Group.

Recruiting has always been part of who he is. It started back in high school, when he helped recruit for his swim team and played a role in taking the program from 6th in the conference to 2nd overall in the state. That experience sparked a passion for connecting people with opportunities that align with their goals and building strong “A teams.”

When it comes to what makes a candidate stand out, Mark values self-awareness and clear communication. Candidates who know what they’re looking for and can confidently articulate their value always make an impression.

He specializes in technical recruiting, primarily focused on software development and management roles, with an emphasis on growth-stage companies.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys unwinding by swimming, biking, and spending time outdoors (even in the cold). He’s also a big Cleveland sports fan, especially the Guardians and Cavs!

After six years at Emerald, his favorite part of the organization is the people. Everyone brings different strengths but shares the same sense of care and support.

Meet Tim Kubacki, Healthcare Recruiter at Emerald Resource Group.

Tim enjoys building genuine relationships with his candidates and helping them find careers that are both rewarding and challenging. In an industry that can focus on quick placements, his goal is to help people find their next home.

He specializes in healthcare recruiting, working with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and healthcare leaders, including CMOs and Medical Directors.

His specialty areas include Internal Medicine (Hospitalist), Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, Gastroenterology, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, and Anesthesiology.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys unwinding by taking his dog for a walk and stepping away from screens.

Having been with Emerald for one year, Tim’s favorite part of the organization is the growth opportunities through sales training and the supportive, collaborative culture.

Meet McKayla Spicer, Executive Accounting & Finance Recruiter at Emerald Resource Group.

What McKayla loves most about recruiting is connecting with people and helping them make career moves that actually fit their lives not just their resumes.

After getting her start in manufacturing recruiting, she quickly discovered that the relationship-building and problem-solving side of the role was what energized her most.

McKayla specializes in accounting and finance recruiting and believes the candidates who stand out most are self-aware, honest, and clear in their communication.

Since joining Emerald in July 2025, she says the supportive, collaborative culture has been her favorite part of the team. And when she’s off the clock, you’ll likely find her at Café Blanc with a coffee in hand ☕️
