Residents of Stillwater county the county has entered into Stage 1 fire restrictions.

This weekend is another hot one. Please use caution with outside activity’s and make sure you stay hydrated during the hot weather.

We are entering Stage 1 Fire Restrictions at midnight tonight.

VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER

BLM officially changed our area from HIGH to VERY HIGH as of Monday, July 13, 2026. Use extreme caution and remember these simple fire safety tips:

🚫 County burn permit system is closed.

🚗 Don’t park or drive on dry grass.

🛠️ Avoid activities that create sparks during the hottest, windiest part of the day.

🚚 Secure trailer chains to prevent sparks on the roadway.

🚬 Never toss ci******es or smoking materials from your vehicle.

With the forecasted heat dome expected to arrive in the next few days ALL burning is shut down from tomorrow Friday July 10 though Monday July 13. Please remember to stay hydrated and out of the direct sunlight if possible the following few days.
