Dash rendering for the new M6 sandrail design. The hood lines carry over exactly to the top dash lines.
For the last 2+ years i’ve been designing a new high end, big power sand rail aimed at the middle east market. I have not started building the car yet and still have areas to finish designing before I want to start fabrication and fixtures. Heat and air conditioning, no visible exterior body panel fasteners, full glass front to back, hard coolant lines, shooting for no zip ties and I didn’t want the entry doors to be obvious. The full hinging hood also has no visible hardware. The 2” frame tubing allows for thick spray foam insulation between exterior/interior panels for noise and climate control. The car is designed with the best of everything in mind and intended to stand out. The dash and console are unlike anything i’ve designed or seen before.
The full hinging/enclosed hatch is part of the air intake. Air travels through the roof scoop, through the hatch and into dual UMP filters, then the intercooler box. All intake air is from outside and above the roof.
The current design is modeled up around an Albins tr**ny and a mid engine, super charged LS motor. It has a 125” wheelbase with a 94” overall track width, coilover and bypass for suspension with sway bars and air bump stops front and rear.
The side panels, wing, and even the body lines in general have strong similarities to previous Sinister models and show the vehicles roots. New model but still brand identifiable.
I modeled this car in solidworks and used keyshot 7 for the renderings. No ETA to start building because I want it to be perfect. I’ll post 2 pics for now and more detailed shots later. Hope you like it!
