When can I retire? How much will my pension be? What do I do with my TSP when I leave? Do I need to sign up for Medicare Part B if I am keeping Federal Employees Health Benefits?

These are the questions we hear most often on discovery calls. If any of them sound familiar, that's a good sign it's time to talk. You don't need to come in with a polished financial picture. You just need your questions. We'll work through the rest together.

Federal retirement has more moving parts than most people realize, and the right conversation at the right time can make a real difference in how your plan comes together. Schedule a visit at https://retirementhelp.us/schedule/?UTM=discoverycall-social

Most federal employees spend decades in service without ever getting a clear picture of what retirement actually looks like for them. Not because the information is not out there, but because it's complicated and every federal employee's situation is unique.

Federal Retirement Advisors was built to change that. We help federal employees understand how their pension, TSP, and federal benefits work together so they can make informed decisions about when and how to retire.

Under FERS, your Minimum Retirement Age depends on the year you were born. For most people currently in the workforce, that falls somewhere between 56 and 57. But the full picture also depends on your years of service.

Here is a question: do you know your MRA, and do you know how many years of service you will have when you reach it?

A lot of federal employees know roughly when they plan to retire, but have not done the math on whether they are actually eligible on that date.

Most of us don't think about retirement until it's around the corner. But federal retirement requires decisions that are a lot easier to make with lead time, and a lot harder to undo once they're made.

Our newsletter is for federal employees who want to stay informed so that when those decisions do come up, they're not scrambling for answers.

We cover things like TSP fund strategies, Social Security timing considerations, Federal Employees Health Benefits and Medicare coordination, and changes to federal benefits rules that may affect your plan.

Most financial planning websites are written for a general audience. Federal employees have a completely different set of decisions to make, and a lot of them are time-sensitive.

When should you retire? Which Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance option should you keep and what will it cost you? What does your pension actually pay and when does it start? How do you coordinate Federal Employees Health Benefits with Medicare Part B? These are not questions a general retirement calculator can answer.

We built https://retirementhelp.us to address the specific decisions federal employees face, with plain language and a team you can actually talk to. Take a look. If you have questions, we're here to help.
